| The ACTSIX Northwest Leadership Scholarship Initiative each year awards ten (10) Tacoma students full-ride scholarships worth over $120,000 to Whitworth College in Spokane. Students selected also receive extensive support, mentoring and leadership training. They are seeking young people who are passionate abut learning, eager to foster intercultural communication and relationships, willing to step out of their comfort zones, committed to serving those around them, and ready to make a difference on the Whitworth campus and in their communities at home. You can find out more about the program at www.actsix.org and about Whitworth College at www.whitworth.edu. Community members are welcome to nominate students for the program. |
